The Mini Microcinema
The Mini Microcinema is dedicated to showing film/video/media that breaks from standard cinematic convention. We are a community that celebrates the art of the moving image, both contemporary and historical, from both near and far.
With over 400 unique screenings at our small 50 seat theater in Over-the-Rhine, our programming consisted of work created outside of mainstream production and distribution systems, ultimately challenging Hollywood standards of form and content.
I was the Assistant Director.

Food Party
Food Party is a critically acclaimed pseudo-reality cooking show produced for the IFC network. Each of the 26 episodes features multi-course, out-of-this-world gourmet meals prepared by creator and host Thu Tran, who weaves through bizarro narratives featuring a colorful cast of puppets and puppet like human friends.
I helped develop, write, and design the show; and performed numerous characters, puppets and voices.

Misguided Guide to the Origin of Everything
The Misguided Guide to the Origin of Everything is an animation series that follows two dim-witted kids, Willy and Tiffy, as they walk around their neighborhood, and encounter all sorts of weird characters, such as a crabby man, a weirdo in a pizza shop, a cat and a dog, their grampa, an alien, and so on. As they do so, they become inspired to ask questions about the world. Where does this come from? Where does that come from? Why is this like that?
I assisted in illustrating and animating these shorts, as well as provide the majority of the character voice over.
